Seeing Red World Theatrical Premiere in Atlanta Georgia

The Dixie Film Festival has selected Seeing Red as part of its 3 day run, October 13-15. The festival is in its third year, and is held on the campus of Georgia State University in Downtown Atlanta.

“The very strong regional focus, and the heartfelt enthusiasm for independent producers made the submission of our movie to Dixie a no-brainer for us, and we are truly pleased and proud to have been selected as one of a very small number of documentaries to be screened” stated co-Producer/Directors Gerry Corneau and Leah Belsky.

The festival has a history of promoting movies with a Southern flavor, and has a specialty in Law Enforcement themed films. Dixie has screened a number of political films in the past, and with intense national attention on Georgia religio/politics this year, Seeing Red is a great fit.

Additionally, Alpharetta Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta is mentioned prominently by Professor Alan Wolfe, one of the expert voices in Seeing Red. Dr. Wolfe notes that Alpharetta is one of the new “exurban mostly Evangelical communities springing up out where the ring roads and the interstates meet.”

For more information, or to buy tickets to the screening scheduled for Saturday, October 14th, 1:55pm go to www.dixiefilmfest.com/
